Avengers: Infinity War Trailer

First of all, SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t watched the Avengers: Infinity War or every movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War has just dropped late November and fans are already coming up with insane theories and new ideas based off of what transpired in this two minute clip. The trailer has become the most-watched trailer on YouTube within a single day of its release, with over 200 million views in just 24 hours. This film will come out on May 4, 2018 and is the culmination of the last ten years of the MCU. We will  witness everyone from all 17 Marvel movies come together to stop the mad titan Thanos from recovering the six Infinity Stones.

There are a couple of new things we see in the trailer that are new to the Avengers movies. Dr. Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy are new to the Avengers’ movies, while Dr. Strange did have a small part in Thor: Ragnarok. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of how our beloved heroes have gone through some changes since Captain America: Civil War almost two years ago. Vision has two scenes in the trailer, one where he looks human and another where he looks like himself. We also saw a rugged Cap with a beard and long hair, as well as a blonde Black Widow.

Some cool shots from the trailer included Spider-man’s spidey sense and his new suit, Thanos putting a couple Infinity Stones into his gauntlet, and a final scene of Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Black Panther, The Hulk, Falcon, War Machine, and Okoye running head on into battle against Thanos’ minions in what looks like the Wakandan jungles. This will really be the culmination of the past ten years of Marvel movies and will be, as the executive producer Kevin Feige reports, “the beginning of the end” for the MCU as we know it. Next year is going to be full of Marvel movies with Black Panther on Februrary 16th, New Mutants on April 13th, Avengers: Infinity War on May 4th, Deadpool 2 on June 8th, and Ant Man 2 on July 6th. Get ready Marvel fans, we’re all in for one wild ride in the cinema.

Film Review: Spider-Man Homecoming

I’ve always been a fan of superhero movies and Spider-Man Homecoming defiantly did not disappoint. It was, yet again, another great Spider-Man movie.

The movie starts off where Captain America: Civil War ended and Peter Parker just wants to be a big time hero and help save the world again. But he keeps waiting and waiting for Tony Stark to call him back and let him fight with the Avengers again. He wants to be more than a a friendly neighborhood superhero. But Stark doesn’t call him. So he goes off on his own, without permission from Tony.

Tom Holland did an amazing job as Spider-Man and in general I really liked how Spider-Man was portrayed in this movie. The movie really brought back the fact that Peter Parker is still just a high school student and really treated him like a teenager which is something, that I had always thought the other Spider-Man movies had been lacking.

I also personally though it was really cool how they tied this movie into Captain America: Civil War. Though I could see how if you hadn’t watched Civil War certain small parts of the movie might had not made as much sense.

The movie overall, was great. It was really funny and full action that kept you at the edge of your seat. I would totally suggest this movie to anyone who has any interest in the world of superheros.

Film Review: Beauty and the Beast

The original animated Beauty and the Beast film gets redone as a live action movie. It was amazing! Disney did a really good job with this movie.

The story is pretty much the same as the original Beauty and the Beast that we all know and love. There were some differences from the original and I wished some scenes from the animated version were brought over for the live action film. Some of the differences, however, gave some cool twists regarding the world the characters live in that you wouldn’t have known from watching the original.

One of the best parts of the movie was definitely the music. The new film had many of the original songs and they were just done perfectly. Emma Watson, who played Belle, also sang many of the songs – knowing it was her singing gave the movie a cool factor. She also has a beautiful voice and it just worked with the songs perfectly. On top of it, Disney added some new songs which as always, were amazing.

Emma Watson, was also perfect as Belle. The image that she gives Belle, is just the was you would imagine her as a real life person .She is also a great actor, and did a really good job of bringing Belle to life. Overall, it was a great family friendly movie. It is a great to watch especially, for something like a family movie night.
