Ender’s Game is a science fiction novel set in the distant future when humans have accomplished interstellar travel and faster than light communications. In this age, humans are threatened by the existence of the Formics, commonly known as the Buggers, an alien race that nearly wiped out humanity in two previous invasions. Ender’s Game is a science fiction classic with lots of physiological themes.
The protagonist of Ender’s Game is Ender, a child prodigy with exception intelligence. Ender is recruited for Battle School, a space station where exceptional children like Ender are trained to become commanders and leaders to combat a future Formic invasion. At Battle School, students are sorted into “armies,” which are their groups for a game similar to laser tag, but in a zero gravity situation. These armies are extremely competitive, and Ender soon finds himself many allies and enemies as he emerges as the best of the best.
Ender’s Game also has many psychological aspects, as Ender is constantly forced to outsmart and outplay his enemies. For example, Ender states that he constantly beat one of his bullies at the beginning of the novels to win the current fight and all future fights. There’s lots of psychology in the book since the novel is about geniuses.
Ultimately, Ender’s Game can be considered a masterpiece. It is a must-read for science-fiction novel fans and is simply a very enjoyable book.

Ender Wiggen is just six years old when he is admitted to battle school. The school where young kids learn how to fight in ware, because one day the buggers (an insectoid alien race) might attack Earth.
Ender does extremely well at the school and moves through the ranks faster than anybody else. He’s even given command of his own army years younger than anyone. These armies are made up over other students, but they compete against each other in the game where they enter an anti-gravity chamber with suits and non-lethal guns. To win the game, you need five people to cross over the enemy’s gate. Ender’s army is extremely successful, and the commander in charge of the school push them more than they have pushed any other army. Until one day, Ender is sent to straight to command school, younger than anyone else ever has. He is pushed to his limits here. Not knowing what he is truly doing.
Personally, I loved this book. It was so different from anything else I have ever read, and as a big reader, I’ve read a lot of science fiction books. I would definatly suggest this book for anyone who wants a good science fiction book to read, one that doesn’t follow the same basic pattern of ever science fiction book that has ever been written.

Kong Skull Island was about a government organization called Monarch that discovered an island. This island was believed to have very mythical things such as giant animals.
The head of Monarch wanted to go to that island but of course they needed a team of scientists and a military escort. This all took place after the Vietnam War just as the Americans where pulling out. They also needed someone who could help them find their way around the island, which was Tom Hiddleston character. They also got a war photographer who would take pictures on that island.
There plan was to drop seismic charges across the island so they could map the island. The only problem with that was they where attacked by Kong. In addition to that, they woke up the skull crawlers who are the real bullies of the island.
The commander of the military escort Colonel Packard was really mad at Kong because Kong killed most of his men. One of my favorite things in this movie was the attachment to Colonel Packard and his men. I mean he will go so far for his men that he would take on a giant ape just to get revenge. After the several crashes everyone was split up in different sections of the island. One of Packard’s men was on the other side of the island. Now this was just one guy. They could have made left him on the island to die but, they went for him because that was the man he was.
I thought Samuel L Jackson was a great antagonist in the movie. He didn’t seem like a bad guy. He just wanted to get revenge on a giant ape who killed them. I thought he played his role right in every way.
We were also introduced to John C. Reilly’s character who has been stuck there since WWII. He was a very funny character and he knew a lot about the island. Since he was been isolated from the world he had a lot of funny questions about history and sports.
The cool thing about Kong Skull Island was that it was all attached to the last Godzilla movie. They are going to try to make a universe out of the next movies which i thought was pretty cool.
I thought this movie was great and is a must see.
